Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking an Ice Cream Specialist to deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience and prepare hand-dipped cones, shakes, and other food service items. The role requires sustaining a clean, organized store, accurate cash handling, and professional customer interaction in a fast-paced environment.

The position is part-time with shifts 1st, 2nd, or 3rd and pay range $11.50–$13.50 per hour. Minimum age 16.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to operate store equipment, including POS terminal and gas console.
• Ability to handle money, transactions, and price book.
• Ability to tolerate temperatures as low as -30 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 2 minutes.
• Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level to a height of 5 feet.

Responsibilities

• Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience; greet Guests with a warm, authentic hello, ensure the store is prepared for Guests at all times.
• Prepare DipSide items: shakes, malts, cones, cups, sundaes, sodas, and hand-packed containers.
• Operate POS system and gas console accurately, handling transactions and payments.
• Stock shelves, dips, coffee pots, ice dispensers, and ensure proper stock rotation and in-code dates.
• Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Complete time records and Customer First documents accurately.
