Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the occupational field.
• One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in ice arena operations and related equipment is expected.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist in facility operations and Adult Hockey League programming.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and borough policies and procedures.
• Coordinate ice arena programs and activities with various groups and events.
• Maintain equipment and facilities, including ice resurfacing, edger, and other machinery.
• Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate staff; conduct regular staff meetings.
• Develop marketing and public relations strategies to promote ice arena programs.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues; escalate as needed.
• Perform day-to-day operations and reconcile cash registers.
• Ensure safety training and incident reports are up to date; ICS courses completed within 90 days of hire.
