Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the occupational field.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license; Alaska state issued; at least 19 years old.
• Must pass pre-employment background check, drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Ice Arena Manager with day-to-day arena operations.
• Opens and closes facility; secures facility at end of day.
• Reconciles cash receipts from the register.
• Promotes programs and services to the public.
• Assists with scheduling and registering for adult hockey leagues.
• Repairs and maintains mechanical equipment and ice surface.
• Maintains and repairs the facility and cleans restrooms/locker rooms.
• Sharpens skate blades and participates in snow removal operations.
• Maintains arena grounds and performs related duties.
