Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Santa Rosa, CA seeks an IC Test Engineering Manager to lead a team of RF/microwave test engineers. You will drive test methods for on-wafer and packaged MMICs, establish robust test strategies, and partner with operations to ensure efficient lab execution.

You will guide automated test development, ensure data integrity, and translate IC requirements into scalable production screening with RCA outcomes, while mentoring engineers and shaping future architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• Education in RF/microwave engineering with hands-on testing experience.
• Experience in RF/mm-wave IC characterization, test strategy, and root-cause analysis.
• Strong programming for test automation (C#, .NET, Python).
• Demonstrated leadership in guiding an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF/millimeter-wave test engineers for on-wafer and packaged tests.
• Own test strategy, priorities, and data interpretation with cross-functional partners.
• Develop automated test plans, fixtures, and programs with operations.
• Ensure data integrity, SOPs, calibration and quality procedures.
• Translate IC requirements into automated production screening and RCA outcomes.
• Manage staffing, capacity, and resources for the test area.
• Track metrics and report to lab leadership and stakeholders.
• Coach and develop engineers for career growth.
