Job summary

NAES Corporation seeks an Instrumentation, Controls and Electrical (IC&E) Technician at Rayburn Energy Station 1 in Sherman, TX. The role maintains and troubleshoots instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment to ensure safe, reliable plant operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
• Experience in power generation or similar industrial environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and field devices.
• Familiarity with PLC, DCS, SCADA and related control systems.
• Ability to install, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot instrumentation and electrical equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with root cause analysis.
• Effective communication and teamwork with Operations, Maintenance, and vendors.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, test, install, maintain, and troubleshoot plant instrumentation and control devices.
• Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC, DCS, SCADA and related control systems.
• Maintain combustion turbine and HRSG control and monitoring systems.
• Support testing, commissioning, outages, and capital projects.
• Analyze equipment performance data to identify problems and improvements.
• Document maintenance activities and calibration records.
• Follow safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete other duties to support plant operations.
