Job summary

NAES is seeking an Instrumentation Controls and Electrical (IC&E) Technician to maintain and repair instruments, control systems and electrical equipment in Renewable Natural Gas processes. The role requires working with motors, transformers, switches and PLC/DCS equipment up to 480 volts, performing calibration and preventive maintenance.

The position emphasizes safety, adherence to NAES programs, and collaboration with the maintenance team.

Qualifications

Four years of high school or equivalent as the baseline education.
Graduation from an accredited Instrument Technician Program is a plus.
Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems.
Experience with voltages up to 480 volts is highly desirable.
Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
Ability to read blueprints and using hand and power tools.
Strong organizational and computer skills; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on major equipment and emergency backup systems.
Maintain equipment files, logs, and drawings.
Assist in operational and mechanical support as needed.
Control spare parts inventory and perform physical inventories.
Calibrate instruments as scheduled or required.
Maintain plant instrumentation and electrical equipment.
Inspect, repair, install and remove motors, generators, transformers, switches, control equipment, wiring, and storage batteries up to 480 volts.
Troubleshoot and analyze DCS, PLC, and turbine control equipment.
Support NAES Safety and Regulatory Compliance Programs.
Complete other tasks assigned by Area Manager.
