Job summary

NAES is seeking an Instrumentation, Controls and Electrical (IC&E) Technician for Rayburn Energy Station 1 in Sherman, TX. You will maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment to support safe, reliable plant operations and contribute to performance improvements.

Responsibilities include calibrating and maintaining devices, testing PLC/DCS/SCADA systems, assisting with outages and commissioning, documenting activities, and adhering to safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical training in instrumentation, control technology, or related field is preferred.
• Experience in power generation or related industrial environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and instrumentation including control valves, transmitters, and analyzers.
• Familiarity with PLC, DCS, SCADA, turbine control and equipment monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, test, install, maintain and troubleshoot plant instrumentation and control devices.
• Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC, DCS, SCADA, turbine control and monitoring systems to identify faults.
• Maintain and troubleshoot combustion turbine, HRSG, and related control/monitoring systems.
• Support outages, commissioning, and capital projects by coordinating work with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, contractors and vendors.
• Analyze equipment performance data to identify problems and suggest improvements.
