Job summary

NAES Castleton Energy Center in Castleton-on-Hudson, NY, seeks an IC&E Technician to calibrate, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment. You will support plant automation, turbine controls, and generation systems with preventive and corrective maintenance to improve reliability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical training in electrical/Instrumentation fields.
• Experience in power generation or industrial environment preferred.
• Knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, turbine control and condition monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and install plant instrumentation and controls.
• Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on switchgear, MCCs, motors, transformers, drives, and batteries.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC, DCS, SCADA, and plant automation systems.
