Job summary

NAES Corporation seeks an IC&E Technician to maintain and repair instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems in a Renewable Natural Gas facility. You will inspect, calibrate, test, and install equipment, ensuring reliability and compliance with safety programs.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting of DCS/PLC, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. On-site schedule is Monday–Friday with potential for extra shifts and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Four years of high school-level instruction or equivalent understanding of procedures.
• Associate degree or better in Electronics Technology or related field is a plus.
• Proven technician experience with instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems.
• Experience with voltages up to 480 V is highly desirable.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on major equipment and emergency backup systems.
• Maintain equipment files, logs, and drawings for designated equipment.
• Assist in operational and mechanical support as needed.
• Help manage spare parts inventory and conduct physical inventories.
• Calibrate instruments as scheduled and required.
• Maintain instrumentation and electrical equipment across the plant.
• Inspect, repair, install, and remove motors, generators, transformers, switches, and related control systems up to 480 volts.
• Troubleshoot and analyze DCS, PLC, and turbine control equipment.
• Support NAES safety and regulatory compliance programs.
