Job summary

NAES Corporation seeks an IC&E Technician at the Berkeley Cogeneration Plant to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation, control, and electrical systems supporting the LM2500PJ gas turbine, steam systems, and campus power delivery.

You will work with plant personnel, contractors, and OEM representatives, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure safe, reliable operation with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Instrumentation and Control Technology or a related technical field preferred.
Experience in power generation or industrial environments is advantageous.
Strong understanding of instrumentation, control, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and install instrumentation, controls, and electrical equipment.
Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency electrical maintenance.
Monitor PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems; diagnose faults and adjust logic.
Maintain turbine, boiler, and balance-of-plant control systems.
Install and commission new equipment and controls per safety standards.
Coordinate with Operations for troubleshooting and downtime reduction.
