Job summary

NAES Corporation seeks an Instrumentation Controls and Electrical (IC&E) Technician to maintain and repair instruments, control systems and electrical equipment in the Renewable Natural Gas process.

The role involves inspection, testing, calibration, installation and removal of electronic and electrical power plant equipment, with responsibilities spanning preventative maintenance and spare parts management. A strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Four years of high school completion or equivalent.
• Graduation from an Instrument Technician program is a plus.
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Experience with voltages up to 480 volts is highly desirable.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on major equipment and systems, including backup systems.
• Maintain equipment files, logs, and drawings for designated equipment.
• Assist in operational and mechanical support as needed.
• Manage spare parts inventory and assist in physical inventories.
• Calibrate instrumentation as scheduled or required.
• Maintain all plant instrumentation and electrical equipment.
• Inspect, repair, install, and remove motors, generators, transformers, switches, and control equipment up to 480 volts.
• Troubleshoot DCS, PLC, and turbine control equipment.
• Support NAES Safety and Regulatory Compliance programs.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by the Area Manager.
