Job summary

NAES Corporation is seeking an Instrumentation, Controls & Electrical (IC&E) Technician at the Berkeley Cogeneration Plant to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation, control, and electrical systems. The role supports combined-cycle equipment, steam systems, and plant reliability while collaborating with plant personnel, contractors, and OEM representatives.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Instrumentation and Control Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Industrial Automation, or related discipline preferred.
Previous experience in power generation, utilities, manufacturing, or similar industrial environment.
Knowledge of industrial electrical systems including switchgear, transformers, MCCs, motors, VFDs, batteries, chargers, inverters.

Responsibilities

Calibrate, test, troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and install plant instrumentation, controls, and electrical equipment.
Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on electrical systems.
Monitor and troubleshoot PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems; support control logic adjustments.
