Takeda is seeking a Specialty Business Manager for the Gastroenterology team in Lakewood, CA. You will drive product demand in physician offices, clinics and hospital accounts, using consultative selling and clinical discussions to expand Takeda's GI portfolio.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, coach stakeholders, and strategically manage resources to maximize footprint performance while meeting regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• BS/BA required.
• 3+ years of successful selling experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device and/or 2+ years at Takeda.
• Ability to discuss therapeutic strategies with decision makers.
• Willingness to travel 25–50%.
• Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective HCPs and present complex clinical and business information on products and services.
• Use insight and consultative selling to educate HCPs about Takeda's solutions.
• Discuss patients' needs with HCPs and drive brand strategies within a geography.
• Coach stakeholders and build consensus for Takeda's solutions.
• Collaborate with partners on routing and resource utilization to maximize footprint.
• Strategize to solve deal-level challenges independently and with teams.
• Attend company meetings and participate in ongoing training.
• Maintain compliance with regulations, policies and procedures.
• Manage allocated resources including budgets, managed markets, etc.
