Job summary

Cencora is seeking an experienced IAM Architect to lead architecture, automation strategy, and modernization of enterprise IAM platforms. You will drive AI-enabled capabilities, intelligent automation, and identity governance across hybrid cloud and SaaS environments, advising senior leadership on trends and investments.

The role focuses on designing advanced IAM architectures, automated workflows, and Zero Trust security, while guiding cross-functional teams to deliver scalable identity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 6+ years in IAM, platform engineering, or cybersecurity-related roles.
• Experience designing and deploying IAM automation using APIs and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with SailPoint, Okta, Entra ID, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, and IaC tooling.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, LDAP, and JWT.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and evolution of enterprise IAM platforms.
• Architect automation for identity lifecycle management and access controls.
• Develop API-driven integrations and identity orchestration workflows.
• Evaluate AI/ML capabilities for intelligent identity governance and risk scoring.
• Collaborate with security, cloud, and application teams to embed identity controls.
• Mentor engineers on automation, AI adoption, and secure dev practices.
