Job summary

Cencora is seeking an experienced IAM Architect to lead the architecture, automation strategy, and modernization of enterprise IAM platforms across the organization. You will drive AI-enabled capabilities, automate identity workflows, and design secure, scalable identity solutions for hybrid cloud environments.

The role emphasizes leadership in IAM governance, PAM, SSO, MFA, and Zero Trust, with mentorship of engineers and collaboration with security leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 6+ years of IAM, platform eng, or related disciplines.
• Hands-on with IAM automation using APIs, scripting, or automation platforms.
• Experience with identity technologies such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, Entra ID, Ping Identity, CyberArk, ForgeRock, BeyondTrust.
• Automation using PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, Terraform, REST APIs, or similar.
• Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, LDAP, JWT.
• Experience in IAM governance, access management, PAM, and Zero Trust.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and evolution of enterprise IAM platforms for workforce, privileged, third-party, and customer identities.
• Architect automate identity lifecycle management, provisioning, deprovisioning, and certification campaigns.
• Develop API-driven integrations and identity orchestration workflows with IaC for scalability.
• Evaluate AI/ML capabilities within IAM for anomaly detection and risk scoring.
• Partner with security, EA, cloud, and app teams to embed automated identity controls.
• Mentor engineers on automation, AI adoption, and secure development.
