Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking an instrument and electrical maintenance technician to support construction, plant facilities, and field operations across gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform predictive and preventive maintenance on SCADA, PLC/DCS, and related control systems, while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements. On-call duties and mentorship of junior staff are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and instrumentation background.
• Experience with control systems and field instrumentation is required.
• Familiarity with safety standards and LOTO procedures is essential.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA and control systems across facilities.
• Repair, install, and maintain instrument and electrical equipment in pipelines and compressor stations.
• Read schematics, P&IDs, and engineering drawings accurately.
• Test and document control devices for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in on-call duties and incident response as required.
• Mentor less experienced staff and review contractor work.
