Job summary

Sargent & Lundy LLC. is expanding its Nuclear Power Group and seeking an experienced I&C Engineer to lead and support control system projects for existing and new nuclear plants.

The role involves design, procurement, client liaison, and cross-disciplinary coordination. The position offers hybrid work with three days in the office and two remote days, plus a generous relocation package for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• 10+ years of experience in I&C Design Engineering; at least 5 years at a nuclear facility.
• PE license is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in speech and writing.
• Experience as a client liaison in a lead or supporting engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support controls projects for nuclear plants, coordinating with mechanical, electrical, and structural disciplines.
• Develop digital systems design for PLC, DCS, HSI, and networked computer systems.
• Prepare and review control system requirements, procurement specs, diagrams, and drawings.
• Interface with clients to ensure proper project execution and satisfaction.
• Evaluate vendor bids and perform FAT oversight on behalf of the client.
• Support project implementation at client facilities.
