Washington University in St. Louis is seeking an I-9 Associate (Hybrid) to support HR Operations. You will validate employment eligibility, manage Form I-9 and E-Verify, and coordinate onboarding for new hires while ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.

The role requires experience with HR systems (Workday, Oracle, SAP), strong knowledge of FLSA and payroll taxes, and excellent communication. This is a full-time hybrid position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• HR service delivery experience in a university or large organization.
• Knowledge of Form I-9, E-Verify, and onboarding processes.
• Familiarity with data management, regulatory standards, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Validate Form I-9 for new hires and rehires, focusing on accuracy in Section 1 and timely completion of Sections 2–3.
• Manage E-Verify, reports, and Workday data related to I-9 records.
• Coordinate with departments, OISS, General Counsel, and external counsel as needed.
