Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Senior HR business partner to coordinate HR services for a designated unit. The role partners with department leadership, coordinates visa and international employment matters with OISS, and ensures policy-compliant HR transactions in Workday.

The position emphasizes collaboration with HR COEs and leadership to align HR practices with university policy and strategic objectives, including talent management and performance processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
• No specific certification/professional license is required for this position.
• Human Resources (5 Years) experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• HR Operations, Transactions & Reporting: serve as liaison to OISS and review HR transactions in Workday for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Collaborate with HR COEs to utilize central HR capabilities and advise unit leadership on HR policies and benefits.
• Staffing and Sourcing: assist Talent Acquisition with sourcing strategies and onboarding/offboarding activities.
• Support of the Assigned Unit: escalate complex Employee Relations issues and assist with investigations as needed.
