Job summary

Corning Inc. in the United States is seeking a seasoned technical sales specialist to drive adoption of new innovations with key DCBU customers and provide extensive engineering support.

You will build local relationships with customers, installers, and consultants, and communicate feedback to shape future products. The role requires travel up to 50% regionally and strong collaboration with engineering, product, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Technical or Science field required.
• 2+ years in sales, project management, data center product or design.
• OR 5+ years as Field Engineer, Systems Engineer, or related roles.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and related tools.
• Knowledge of data center networks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of innovations at strategic accounts.
• Serve as SME for Hyperscale DC sites.
• Provide competitive intel from customer engagements.
• Identify local stakeholders and manage design cycles.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for field trials.
• Prepare weekly trip reports and forecasts.
• Support with pro bono on-site technical resources.
• Engage Engineering Services, Product Mgmt, QA, and R&D.
