Job summary

Corning Inc. seeks a Commercial Technology Manager within the Data Center Business Unit to drive innovations for non-hyper scale data center customers and Global Accounts.

You will liaise between customer engagements and Corning’s technology organization, addressing complex network designs and enabling new products. You will work with PLM and cross-functional teams to prepare prototypes, market requirements, and field validations, while identifying opportunities and shaping commercialization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in Data Center cabling infrastructure.
• Strong customer-focused relationship-building and analytical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Detail customer-specific network switch architecture and cabling solutions.
• Identify and analyze customer pain points through routine engagements in accounts.
• Identify inflection points in network design to enable innovation.
• Drive adoption of new solutions with sales and customers, including field trials.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with AIR, PLM, and S&T during discovery and solution selection.
• Engage DCBU customers with innovation ideas beyond the current horizon.
