Job summary

Corning Incorporated seeks a seasoned Engineering Services professional to support hyperscale data center initiatives. You will gather customer requirements, coordinate prototypes with Corning Technology, and deliver documentation while aligning solutions with market needs.

Role involves collaboration with COC and ES leadership, field trials, and training customers on new products. Expect travel up to 25% and a focus on innovation and risk reduction.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in telecommunications or data center industries.
• Experience in project coordination/managment is highly desired.
• Ability to translate complex technical info for customers and internal teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Travel up to 25% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead ES solution development for strategic HSDC customers.
• Understand customer priorities and align solutions with needs.
• Support internal stakeholders to ensure ES meets innovation needs.
• Interact with customers to identify requirements and guide to feasible solutions.
• Articulate use cases and collaborate with Technology during design.
• Contribute to IP/patent generation with Technology.
• Identify potential failure modes and mitigate with the Technology team.
• Train customer design engineers and installation contractors on new products.
• Establish procedures for innovation products and testing.
