Job summary

Jacobs, a leading engineering firm, seeks a Structural Design Technician to support our Advanced Manufacturing Data Centers team across the United States. You will draft and update structural drawings, coordinate building systems, and help produce clear construction documents.

Working with structural engineers and designers, you will use Revit and AutoCAD to support project coordination, follow standards, and possibly lead a small design package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years drafting/desig n experience in structural field.
• At least 1 year of Revit experience.
• At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience.
• Experience leading a team of Designers is a plus.
• Experience with Data Centers - Hyperscale is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update structural drawings and models.
• Coordinate building systems and existing conditions on projects.
• Help produce clear construction documents, foundations, framing and equipment support.
• Use 2D drafting and BIM tools to support coordination and reviews.
• Follow project standards and share knowledge with teammates.
