Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support data center site development and heavy civil construction.

You will work with project managers, field teams, and customers to ensure work is safe, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires reviewing drawings, coordinating submittals and RFIs, maintaining documentation in Procore, and helping develop plans and schedules while identifying risks and proposing practical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of construction experience.
• Experience on data center or mission-critical projects preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings and manage documents.
• Procore or similar PM software familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, scheduling, and coordination across the project lifecycle.
• Review drawings, specs, and civil plans for execution.
• Coordinate submittals, RFIs, change docs, and records.
• Support quantity takeoffs, cost tracking, and procurement.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and construction teams.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting in Procore.
• Identify risks and develop solutions to maintain schedule and budget.
