Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support data center site development and heavy civil construction in Hubbard, TX.

This role involves planning, coordination, and meticulous documentation to ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence. You will work with project managers, field teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality infrastructure projects that power technology and connectivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of construction experience.
• Experience supporting data center, mission-critical, large campus, or complex infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply construction drawings, civil plans, and specs.
• Familiarity with CAD drawings and construction management platforms such as Procore.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, scheduling, and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review drawings, specifications, and civil plans to support field operations.
• Coordinate submittals, RFIs, changes, and project records for contract compliance.
• Support quantity takeoffs, cost tracking, and procurement activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and construction teams to resolve challenges.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting in Procore or similar platforms.
• Support onsite delivery of data-center infrastructure and heavy civil projects.
