Michels Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, documentation, and execution of data center site development and heavy civil projects.

You will work with project managers, field teams, customers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires problem solving across teams, strong communication, and a focus on delivering mission‑critical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• 3+ years of construction experience or equivalent.
• Experience supporting data center or mission‑critical projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and civil plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams with planning, scheduling, and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review drawings, specifications, and civil plans to support field operations.
• Coordinate submittals, RFIs, change documents, and project records per contract requirements.
• Support quantity takeoffs, cost tracking, and procurement activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and construction teams to resolve challenges.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting in Procore or similar software.
