Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. seeks a Structural Engineering Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, and management of structural engineering for large data center and infrastructure projects.

You will be the technical liaison among engineering, construction operations, consultants, customers, and stakeholders to ensure designs are integrated into execution. The role requires strong technical judgment, leadership, and the ability to balance technical excellence with practical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field; 5+ years of engineering, PM, or construction experience.
• Experience managing structural scopes on data center or large infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of foundations, reinforced concrete, structural steel, and building supports.
• Experience reviewing drawings, calculations, specs, shop drawings, BIM models, and related docs.
• Ability to evaluate constructability and coordinate across multiple disciplines.
• Familiarity with Procore or similar construction management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering coordination across all project delivery phases.
• Manage deliverables and coordinate between customers, consultants, subcontractors, and construction teams.
• Review drawings, calculations, specifications, BIM models for accuracy and constructability.
• Support proposal development, scope definition, and value engineering during pursuits.
• Identify design risks and constructability concerns and develop practical solutions.
