Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support data center site development and heavy civil construction, working with project managers, field teams, and customers to ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality.

You will review drawings, coordinate submittals, RFIs, and cost tracking, and contribute to risk management while maintaining documentation in Procore. This role requires a bachelor’s degree in CM/CE and 3+ years’ construction experience, with on-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of construction experience.
• Experience with data center/mission-critical or large campus projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical docs.
• Familiarity with CAD and Procore or similar platforms.
• Ability to perform quantity takeoffs and support cost-control efforts.
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, scheduling, and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review drawings, specs, and civil plans to support field operations.
• Coordinate submittals, RFIs, change documentation, and project records.
• Support quantity takeoffs, cost tracking, and procurement activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and construction teams to resolve challenges.
• Maintain project documentation in Procore or similar CM platforms.
• Support successful delivery of data center and critical infrastructure projects.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and documentation packages.
