Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to support controls across large hyperscale data center projects. You will collaborate with project managers, field teams, and finance to forecast, track costs, and maintain reporting systems.

The role emphasizes analytical acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights while ensuring schedules, budgets, and performance metrics stay aligned with objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business, Project Management, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of project controls, project management, cost controls, scheduling, finance, accounting, or related experience.
• Strong analytical, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support project controls activities including forecasting, budgeting, cost tracking, reporting, and project performance analysis.
• Develop and maintain project reports, dashboards, KPI metrics, and forecasting tools.
• Assist in identifying budget variances, schedule impacts, risks, and performance trends.
• Collaborate with accounting, procurement, project management, field operations, and scheduling teams to maintain accurate project information.
• Support project startup, execution, commissioning, turnover, and closeout reporting requirements.
