Job summary

PTAG in Hamlet, NC invites a Commissioning Engineer - Hyperscale to lead and coordinate complex commissioning activities for mission-critical facilities. You will manage L1–L3 testing, align schedules with the master plan, coordinate vendors, and support IST readiness, without performing IST execution.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Campus Lead and Commissioning Lead, documentation, and clear reporting on schedule status, risks, and issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of commissioning, construction, or project engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Hands-to-Cool (H2C) schedule in coordination with Campus Lead and Commissioning Lead.
• Align H2C with the P6 master project schedule and identify dependencies and conflicts.
• Coordinate L1–L3 testing to support on-time H2C milestones.
• Support L3–L4 handoff documentation and readiness records for transfer to ACx/CxA.
• Drive timely resolution of commissioning observations and issues with responsible parties.
• Coordinate vendor and subcontractor resources for L1–L3 activities.
• Support IST readiness including documentation and punch list tracking.
• Maintain communication and reporting on schedule status, risks, and issues.
• Develop commissioning documentation including L1–L3 test procedures and logs.
• Participate in daily commissioning and project meetings.
