Job summary

GCON Management Company LLC is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to oversee end-to-end L1–L5 commissioning for large hyperscale data center projects. The role requires coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, trade partners, and third-party agents to deliver reliable, compliant facilities.

The ideal candidate has 8–10+ years of commissioning experience in data centers, with a strong background in MEP systems, risk management, and client-facing meetings.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of commissioning experience on data center projects with a general contractor.
• Demonstrated expertise leading L3/L4 testing on hyperscale facilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full L1–L5 commissioning program for hyperscale data center projects across all systems.
• Develop commissioning plans, schedules, and level-gate workflows for all phases (L1–L5).
• Define criteria for level exit/entry and ensure readiness before progression.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, clients, and third-party agents through milestones.
• Oversee risk management and schedule recovery for critical paths at all levels.
