Job summary

GCON Management Company LLC in Texas seeks an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead L1–L5 commissioning for hyperscale data center programs. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, define level-entry and level-exit criteria, and oversee end-to-end testing through turnover.

This role requires strong leadership, MEP knowledge, and clear client communication to align teams and owners on schedule, risk, and quality.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of commissioning on data center or mission-critical projects.
• Experience leading L3–L5 testing and owner acceptance.
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams across schedules.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and commissioning procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full L1–L5 commissioning program for hyperscale data centers.
• Develop and implement commissioning plans, level gates, and testing workflows.
• Define level-entry and level-exit criteria for each phase.
• Coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and third-party agents.
• Oversee risk management and schedule protection at each level.
• Ensure quality, code compliance, and redundancy requirements.
• Lead client-facing meetings and gate reviews with owners and stakeholders.
• Mentor teams on best practices for hyperscale commissioning.
