Job summary

Accenture Construct is seeking a commissioning professional to act as the client representative on site for data center projects, coordinating with design, construction, and operations teams to meet milestones on time and within budget.

You will review commissioning plans for mechanical and electrical systems, supervise testing from L0 to L5, drive safety compliance and energy efficiency, and communicate progress to stakeholders across the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or four years of related experience.
• Six+ years commissioning mechanical and electrical systems for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Six+ years commissioning complex infrastructure projects and managing MEP teams.

Responsibilities

• Be the client representative on site, supporting the commissioning team and coordinating with stakeholders to meet milestones on time and within budget.
• Plan and coordinate daily Cx activities with client and GC teams.
• Monitor commissioning for mechanical and electrical systems (HVAC, chillers, CRACs, switchgear, UPS, generators, etc.).
• Review commissioning plans, procedures and protocols and ensure alignment with project requirements and industry best practices.
• Review functional, load, and integrated testing to validate system performance (L0–L5).
• Collaborate with design, construction and operations teams to resolve issues and implement effective solutions.
• Review commissioning reports and maintain documentation for turnover to operations.
• Ensure compliance with codes and safety regulations (ASHRAE, NFPA, NE, etc.) and recommend energy efficiency improvements.
