Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Technical Advisor to manage construction activities at customer sites across the United States in a remote capacity. You will direct site crews, oversee daily operations and ensure technical execution aligns with project goals and company policies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hydroelectric generator experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Deep knowledge of repair/replacement practices for mechanical equipment in hydro facilities.
• Familiarity with maintaining multi‑purpose hydro facilities, dams and powerhouses.
• Knowledge of safe operation practices for heavy construction equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan project activities, allocate resources, and maintain site docs.
• Champion EHS guidelines and conduct risk assessments, with authority to pause work.
• Perform in-process tests and fault investigations on equipment.
• Serve as primary contact for customer and subcontractors; train and manage team.
• Assist in pre-bid walks, cost estimates for proposals, and track project risks.
