Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Project Director to manage Renewable Energy Hydro Projects in the United States. You will drive project execution to maximize cash and margin, delivering on time and within contract while aligning with customer expectations.

Responsibilities include strategy development, stakeholder communication, resource planning, KPI monitoring, and risk/claims management. The role requires cross-functional leadership, regulatory compliance, and extensive EPC/site experience.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering.
• 5 to 15 years of relevant power generation industrial experience.
• 3 years of Project Director experience.
• International project execution.
• Large Construction (EPC) and site experience.
• Fluent in both French and English.
• Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited, reference verification and background check.
• Must have unrestricted Canadian work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project execution strategy to meet performance goals.
• Represent GE Vernova to customers and manage the communication loop.
• Set up resources, organize project team and define interfaces and roles.
• Monitor KPI's and take action to guarantee financial, time, quality and safety performance.
• Establish and monitor Project Quality Plan, Procedures, and EHS Plan.
• Define strategy for claim management and lead necessary actions.
• Define Risk Management Plan and track risks and opportunities.
• Own project hand-over from Sales to Service or close out obligations.
• Lead and coach the project team and provide development plans.
