Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer for site preparation, execution, and closure activities at hydroelectric power plant projects. You will develop QA plans, coordinate supplier documentation, and ensure compliance with ITPs and contract requirements while working remotely with on-site teams.

You will review NCRs, lead inspections, and supervise inspectors, with 1–5 years of heavy mechanical installation experience and strong English communication. Travel to multiple sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards
• Ability to work remotely at a hydroelectric power plant
• English proficiency required

Responsibilities

• Site preparation: participate in handover tasks, document them, and implement QA plans.
• Project execution: control documents, measurement devices, traceability and QC records; manage NCR/NCM; supervise inspectors on site.
• Project closure: drive open item closure, record lessons learned, coordinate handover milestones and as-built processes
