Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Technical Field Advisor to provide on-site technical direction for Steam Turbine Generator systems at customer sites in the U.S. and Canada, with travel up to 80% annually.

You will review plant documents, troubleshoot equipment, and lead labor and materials to complete work per contract. In this role, you will supervise field activities, ensure safe practices, and deliver thorough technical reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Manage, perform, coordinate, and/or monitor Steam Power site activities.
• Perform on-site installation and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration.
• Respond to requests for emergency repairs and services to troublesome equipment.
• Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives on-site.
• Prepare timely and accurate technical reports and job status updates.
