Job summary

Altec in Creedmoor, NC is seeking a 2nd shift Hydraulic Hose Assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble hydraulic hose JIC fittings, measure lengths with calipers, and crimp ends to spec, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints and assembly Live guidance, labeling and storing hoses, and supporting assembly of system components with hand tools and small power tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Ability to read calipers required.
• Some mechanical/hydraulic background preferred.
• Fab Live database knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble hydraulic hose JIC fittings.
• Pull hose to required length and cut ends.
• Crimp ends and verify measurements with calipers.
• Label, bundle, and store hoses.
• Follow safety regulations and PPE requirements.
