Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking an Assembly Tech - Hose to assist in assembling hydraulic hose parts and components to factory specifications for external customers. You will cut, fit, and assemble hose and fittings, test assemblies, and help maintain inventory to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires basic hydraulics knowledge, use of hand tools and shop equipment, and proficiency with Outlook and computer systems. Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of hose types and thread configurations; basic hydraulic principles.
• Ability to use a computer and Microsoft Outlook.
• Experience with hand tools and shop equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to solve problems and work independently.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Basic knowledge of fluid power.

Responsibilities

• Assist and enable industrial customers in assembling hydraulic hose parts or components.
• Cut, fit, and assemble hose and fittings; inspect or test assemblies.
• Maintain proper inventory by counting, reordering, or shipping materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
