The Hydraulic Hose Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling, routing, installing, and connecting hydraulic hoses, fittings, and related mechanical components during the manufacturing and assembly of heavy equipment. This position requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work with hand and power tools in a production environment.
Previous experience with hydraulic hoses, mechanical assembly, heavy equipment, automotive, industrial equipment, or manufacturing preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools. Basic understanding of hydraulic systems, hoses, fittings, valves, and cylinders preferred. Ability to read basic assembly drawings, diagrams, and work instructions. Ability to identify and properly install various hose and fitting configurations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, climb, and work in various positions throughout the shift. Ability to work inside, underneath, and around heavy equipment during assembly. Ability to perform repetitive gripping, fastening, tightening, and assembly tasks.
