Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a hose assembler to build hydraulic hose assemblies per orders, prints, and customer specs. You will cut, measure, and crimp hoses with hand tools and hydraulic equipment, select fittings per pressure ratings, and inspect finished work for quality and compliance.

You will perform pressure and leak tests, troubleshoot issues, maintain a clean work area, and follow safety policies. Experience with hydraulic components and safety PPE is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience assembling hydraulic hoses and fittings.
• Knowledge of crimp specifications and pressure ratings.
• Forklift or warehouse experience (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Assemble hydraulic hose assemblies according to work orders, prints, and customer specifications.
• Cut, measure, and crimp hydraulic hoses using hand tools and hydraulic crimping equipment.
• Inspect finished hose assemblies for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
• Perform pressure testing and leak testing as required.
• Identify and troubleshoot hose, fitting, and fluid power issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
