Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and preferred technical training.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Experience with assembly in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble valves according to plans, blueprints, and drawings while meeting specifications.
• Inspect components during assembly to ensure quality and conformity.
• Use hand tools, gauges, drills, arbor presses, and power torque instruments.
• Collaborate with engineering/sales on prototype assemblies as needed.
• Assist testers in troubleshooting assembly and testing processes.
• Repair parts and sub-assemblies, including handling returns.
• Bag/label finished assemblies and transport to shipping area.
• Plan assembly of valves with multiple components using schematics and blueprints.
• Perform some electrical assembly tasks as required.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and uphold quality standards.
• Train new team members and participate in continuous improvement.
