Job summary

Responsibilities

• Investigate new claims by reviewing reports, identify reliable contacts, gather information.
• Establish action plans based on case facts, protocols and resources.
• Manage inventory of workers' compensation claims and negotiate settlements.
• Estimate loss costs using available instructions and market practices.
• Confirm or deny coverage based on investigation findings and advise policyholders.
• Review and disposition claims within authority and state compliance; update files.
