Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance in Plano, TX is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to join our Claims Team in a hybrid role. You will review, analyze and process moderately to complex commercial property and casualty claims, determining liability and damages, negotiating settlements and coordinating investigations.

You will mentor teammates, participate in quality reviews and support claims leadership with caseload management, while enjoying the flexibility of remote work for focused tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 3–5 years related claims experience.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required licenses.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze claims to determine coverage, liability and damages.
• Negotiate settlements within authority.
• Coordinate with subrogation, SIU, and legal as needed.
• Mentor team members and participate in quality reviews.
• Assist in assigning new claims and monitoring caseloads.
