Responsibilities

• Investigates new claims by reviewing reports and gathering information from injured workers, customers, and witnesses.
• Establishes action plans based on facts, protocols and available resources.
• Manages an inventory of workers' compensation claims; evaluates liability, negotiates settlements within limits.
• Estimates loss costs using available resources and market protocols.
• Confirms or denies coverage based on investigations and advises policyholders on appropriate actions.
• Reviews and dispositions assigned claims within authority and state compliance.
• Updates files and strategizes to mitigate exposure and improve disposal.
