Job summary

We provide training and mentoring; travel to Plano, TX for a week in January is required, with potential onsite work up to two days per month. Residency in listed states is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Investigates new claims by reviewing first reports of loss and supporting materials.
• Establishes action plans based on case facts and available resources.
• Manages an inventory of workers' compensation claims and negotiates settlements within limits.
• Estimates loss costs using guidelines and market protocols.
• Reviews coverage determinations and advises policyholders on next steps.
• Performs disposition of assigned claims within authority and state rules.
• Updates files and implements strategies to mitigate exposure and improve outcomes.
