Job summary
Ally is seeking an Sr Analyst, Business Systems Development-Workday to join our HR Workday Development team. This role supports design, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of HCM Core, Compensation, and Advanced Compensation modules in a hybrid setup across Charlotte, Detroit, or Jacksonville locations.
You will collaborate with HR, Technology, and leadership to deliver reliable HR systems, drive process improvements, and ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- 3+ years configuring Workday HCM Core and/or Compensation modules.
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, HRIS, Technology, or related field.
- Related HR functional experience.
- Workday Pro HCM Core Certification or Partner Certification preferred.
- Workday Pro Compensation and/or Advanced Compensation Certification or Partner Certification preferred.
- Experience leading the Workday HCM Core, Compensation, and/or Advanced Compensation workstreams in implementations.
- Experience with case management systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and Jira.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Systems-thinking across HR.
Responsibilities
- Provide Workday HCM Core, Compensation, and Advanced Compensation SME support by managing Tier 2 cases, system maintenance, and configurations.
- Advise stakeholders on industry standards to achieve clean configurations.
- Gather and analyze business requirements; drive planning, development, testing, and implementation of Workday functionality.
- Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with Workday Support, HR, and other teams.
- Maintain change controls and data quality standards.
- Validate and execute EIBs and mass data updates.
- Ensure data integrity in Workday across modules.
- Communicate options and simplify technical language for non-technical users.
- Evaluate current systems and propose improvements.
