Job summary

Ally Financial invites an experienced Workday Business Systems Developer to join our HR Workday Development team. You will design, configure, and maintain Workday HCM Core, Compensation, and Advanced Compensation, partnering with HR and Technology to optimize processes.

The role is hybrid, requiring in-office presence about three days per week at Charlotte, Detroit, or Jacksonville locations. A strong background in Workday configurations and agile teamwork is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in configuring Workday HCM Core and/or Compensation modules.
• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, HRIS, Technology, or related field (or equivalent).
• Experience with case management systems and agile project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements development and prioritization with senior leadership.
• Design, configure, administer, and maintain Workday HCM Core, Compensation, and Advanced Compensation modules.
• Collaborate with HR, Technology, and third-party teams on projects and issues; support testing and release management.
