Job summary
Ally Financial is seeking a Sr Analyst, Business Systems Development-Workday to design, configure, and maintain Workday HCM Core, Compensation, and Advanced Compensation in a hybrid Charlotte/onsite setting. You will partner with HR, Technology, and external teams to optimize processes and support timely delivery.
You will troubleshoot complex issues, manage Tier 2 cases, and drive testing and release management while ensuring data integrity and governance across Workday tenant environments.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant Workday configuration experience.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, HRIS, Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Workday Pro HCM Core and/or Compensation certifications preferred.
- Experience leading Workday HCM Core, Compensation, and Advanced Compensation workstreams.
- Experience with case management systems, e.g., ServiceNow.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with agile project management and Jira.
Responsibilities
- Provide Workday HCM Core, Compensation, and Advanced Compensation configuration and maintenance.
- Manage Tier 2 cases, system maintenance, and release management.
- Collaborate with HR and stakeholders to gather requirements and drive implementation.
- Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with Workday Support, HR, and IT as needed.
- Ensure data integrity and governance across Workday tenant environments.
