Job summary

GFT is seeking a Workday Techno-Functional Analyst to join our IT Services Team in a hybrid work model with regular attendance at offices across Mechanicsburg, PA and other U.S. locations.

You will optimize Workday HCM processes and ensure accurate data and strong employee experience. The role requires 5+ years of Workday HCM experience, hands-on config for Core HCM/Payroll/Benefits, and expertise in reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of Workday HCM experience in a functional or technical-functional role.
• Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Core HCM Payroll and Benefits.
• Experience creating Workday reports (advanced, matrix, composite preferred).
• Strong understanding of HR processes and data structures.
• Ability to analyze requirements and recommend scalable Workday solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and support Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Business Process Framework, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and Reporting).
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday HCM functionality and best practices.
• Support HR business processes including hires, job changes, terminations, and reorganizations.
• Design, build, and maintain custom reports, calculated fields, and dashboards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Workday issues, ensuring timely and accurate solutions.
• Partner with HR and functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
• Support testing efforts for Workday updates, releases, and new configurations.
• Maintain system documentation, configuration guides, and process workflows.
• Assist with data audits, validations, and compliance-related activities.
• Participate in Workday biannual releases by reviewing features, evaluating impacts, and implementing enhancements.
